JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT WITH A BALL AT YOGA

She’s committed to staying in great shape throughout her pregnancy, and Jennifer Love Hewitt yesterday attended a yoga class in Santa Monica.

The “I Know What You Did Last Summer” starlet showed off her growing baby bump in a slim-fitting grey tank top with purple shorts and a ball cap as she joked around with her instructor at an outdoor gym.

As for her motherhood preparations, J. Love told press, “I think most people, when they're getting ready to be a mom, they go, ‘Oh my gosh, I have to have all of the answers right now.’”

“But every kid is different, every parent is different and every child and parent relationship is different, so you just sort of have to wait until you're in it and do the best that you can to try to be zen in the middle of it all.”

URVASHI SHARMA PREGNANT WITH HER FIRST CHILD

It was a moment of dual celebration for Sachin J Joshi as he completed the major portion of his film JACKPOT THE FULL JHOL and celebrated it by heralding his birthday. But what made the moment more precious was the fact that he was also a soon-to-be dad and his wife Raina Joshi nee Urvashi Sharma chose this occasion to let the world know this.

In fact, it was Raina who took this decision. We wanted it to be a simple thing that only the family was aware of for the first few months. I knew I had to await a surprise on my birthday, but the letter Raina wrote to me on a large cake was something very unexpected. I was so touched," says an emotional Sachiin.

Raina beams, "I was so happy to see Sachin happy. I wanted to convey my feelings that what he did for me matters always and I would be with him through thick and thin and this day would be always special for us. And thought, the writing on the cake would be the best. I am so happy he loved it."

SHAHRUKH'S "CHENNAI EXPRESS" RELEASING THIS "EID"

CHENNAI EXPRESS is going to be big. However 'how big' is the question that is making the rounds of trade, industry as well as the audience. While all sorts of numbers are being thrown around, the man of the moment, Shahrukh Khan, isn't making any statements in this regard. Of course he is promoting the film at all outlets but when it comes to making any proclamations, he is relatively quieter than ever before.

Is that the mid-40s syndrome when as an actor and a professional, he seem to have seen it and done a lot, if not all?

"I will tell you something. After my first 5-6 years in the industry, I started thinking of success very differently. When people think of success then they speak from an outsider point of view. From the point of view of a successful person, it is all very different. It is a whole lot of emotion that happens to very few people," says Shahrukh in a thoughtful tone.

He goes on to add, ''Of course finally the cliche is to work hard. See, I can't explain what success is. I just work. I don't sit and give lecture to my kids. It is a very strange place to be successful. People will have their own take on it. I feel happy if they understand it. I feel sad when they don't and can only say that 'arrey yaar, they haven't understood'. However I can't change them or their thoughts.''

No wonder, he has an entire different take on the film's definite entry into the 100 crore club and then the collections beyond.

'Well, if you are dreaming of numbers then why limit yourself to 100 or 200 crores? You may as well think of 5000 crores. That's how I see it. There is no point assigning a number against your success,' says Shahrukh before signing off.

LILY COLLINS AT APPLE STORE SOHO STOP

She’s been a busy lady as of late, and Lily Collins showed her fans some love at the Apple Store SoHo Presents: Meet The Actor “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” event in New York City last night.

The “Abduction” actress donned a gorgeous Versace dress and Casadei heels as she chatted with the audience about her brand new film.

And though she’s a bonafide celebrity in her own right, Lily confessed that she’d freak out if she met a certain Jack Sparrow star.

“It’s funny now to find myself in social situations with my former idols. [I'd never be lost for words] unless maybe it was Johnny Depp. If I met him I wouldn’t know what to do with myself.”

AISHWARYA RAI BACHCHAN MAKING COMEBACK WITH ITEM SONG IN SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI'S "RAM LEELA"

The buzz in the market is that now Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ready for a comeback and she has been sounded out by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make it through an item song for his upcoming film RAM LEELA! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has an organic link with Bhansali. Before she took the sabbatical for motherhood, it was Bhansali's film GUZAARISH in which she had acted. Besides, it was, as a matter of fact Bhansali, who really pushed her into the Big league with HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM, after which she never looked back. It was Bhansali again who pitted Ash against Madhuri Dixit in DEVDAS, where Ash held her ground with panache against Madhuri. No wonder Bhansali has been a sort of magic charm or catalyst for Ash whenever she needed a push to her career.

Coming back from a sabbatical an item song is perhaps the best way to revive one's presence amongst the heart of the fans. Ash after all has been the original item girl for Hindi cinema, when she made her appearance in BUNTY AUR BABLI with 'Kajrare' song, which set the trend for mainstream heroines to appear in item songs thenceforth to improve the visibility quotient of a film. Even a Madhuri Dixit also succumbed to it in YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI with her ghagra song.

For Ash the catch for her could be that a Kajrare happened eight years ago and after Kajrare she did not do an item song. On the flip side, the positive point for her would be that, if she agrees to do the item song for RAM LEELA, she can rest assured that the song would be trail blazing. After all, nobody picturises a song and conceptualizes it in the manner in which Sanjay Leela Bhansali does it. For Deepika Padukone it would be an interesting connection that she would be associated with two such films where biggies of Hindi cinema would have done an item number as Madhuri did it for YJHD and Ash could do it for RAM LEELA.
