Vidya, who is often attributed as classic Indian beauty and known as avid sari fan, has now turned the Brand Ambassador of a South Sari brand, which is based out of south India. She has signed an endorsement deal of a phenomenonal amount of Rs. 5 crores. The brand wants to target the youth as well traditional Indian woman. So they wanted someone who could have an edge for youngsters and at the same time a strong youth appeal. And they found these qualities in Vidya Balan.
