Making for a full day of promotional efforts, Freida Pinto was the belle of the ball at the 35th Annual Toronto International Film Festival.

Looking very nice in red, the Indian actress was joined by "Slumdog Millionaire" co-star beau Dev Patel at the red carpet premiere of the movie "Miral".

Receiving common reviews so far, "Miral" is described as "a drama centered on an orphaned Palestinian girl growing up in the wake of the first Arab-Israeli war who finds herself drawn into the conflict."

Earlier in the day, Freida went out sans Dev as she joined Hiam Abbass at the Guess Portrait Studio for a fun-filled photo session taking place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

KIM KARDASHIAN : THE SOHO HOTEL HOTTIE

Making time for her fans, Kim Kardashian made her much awaited exit out of the Soho Hotel in London, England.

With a large crowd gathered outside, the E! reality beauty kindly stopped to sign posters and pose for a few pictures before heading off for the night's agenda.

Currently on her second night in the UK locale, Kim seems to be having a marvelous, yet tiring time. She tweeted earlier today, "I literally met the sweetest fans outside of my hotel last night! Thanks @Naridash and @MelissaHudson29 for the letters! Xoxo".

A few hours later, the 29-year-old sluggishly added, "Jet lag is hitting me hard."

MAHIMA TURNS "36" TODAY

She was romantically linked with Dino Morea, who denied the reports. She dated tennis star Leander Paes for some time.  In 2006 she married a high profile Mumbai architect, Bobby Mukherjee in Las Vegas amidst total secrecy.

Selena told MTV News, "I think he deserves it. I think he's worked really hard. I think he works harder than a lot of people I know, so he deserves it."

SHINEY NEVER RAPED ME : MAID

Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja's domestic maid, who accused Shiney of raping her, has told to a court that the rape never took place.

Shiney was accused of raping his domestic help at his Andheri West home June 14, 2009. He was arrested and spent 110 days in police and judicial custody in various jails before the Bombay High Court granted him bail on surety of Rs.50,000.

While granting bail, Justice A.P. Deshpande had imposed stringent conditions on ordering Shiney to live in New Delhi till the trial started in Mumbai, not to influence witnesses, deposit his passport with the police, and report regularly to a nearby police station while in the capital.

The 20-year-old victim made the statement last week before a special judge in a fast track court in Sewri where Shiney's 'in-camera' trial is currently under way. She also claimed that she made the serious charge against Shiney allegedly because of some pressure from a woman who introduced her to the actor.

Confirming the developments, public prosecutor K.V. Dighe said the court has now declared the victim as a 'hostile witness', but the trial will continue. The case against Shiney will continue before the fast track court and the outcome would depend on the statements of other witnesses besides the evidence gathered against him.

AUDRINA PATRIDGE DANCING THROUGH THE PAIN

Getting ready for reality dance stardom, Audrina Patridge was seen leaving a dance studio in Los Angeles, California.

Looking very sexy, the former "Hills" star smiled for paparazzi as she slowly made her way to her car after rehearsing for the TV show "Dancing with the Stars".

Definitely feeling the burn from the intense sessions ahead of the show's season premiere, Audrina told Us magazine, "My legs are so sore!" Continuing on, Audrina says that she's been having a tough time "going through the entire routine without stopping because you run out of breath. It's like, 'I don't know if I can stand this for fifteen more hours!'"

Not settling for second rate material, the 25-year-old, Audrina tells, "I'm really hard on myself. I'd rather just keep going and going and going instead of taking a break."

TABU IN SANTOSH SIVAN'S MOVIE "URMI"

Now we are going to see Vidya Balan and Tabu together in Santosh Sivan's "Urmi". We all are witness to Vidya Balan's acting prowess and her dancing excellence. No wonder then that director Santosh Sivan didn't blink an eye before approaching Balan for a dance number based on the traditional Mohiniattam dance form, in his yet to release film titled Urmi. The song has been choreographed by the well known south dance director Ulhas.

Santosh Sivan’s Urumi is now in full swing in the forests of Malshej Ghat near Mumbai. Tabu is in Malshej Ghat to do a cameo appearance. Not only is Vidya performing a dance number but she has an extended part in the film as well. This Malayalam film is a period drama set in the 15th Century and deals with the killer of Vasco Da Gama. The leading actors of the film are Genelia D'Souza and Prabhudeva.

KELLY RIPA WITH MARK CONSUELOS : SOHO LOVERS

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos were seen enjoying one another companion in a SoHo area of New York City.


The TV show host with her husband walked along a travel hand-in-hand after jacket up lunch during luminary favorite, Balthazar. On the weekend, a happy couple attended a 35th Annual Hampton Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton, NY to watch their 9-year-old daughter Lola contest in modernized jumping classes.


After Lola as well as her pony, Dawn’s Early Light, scored dual second place ribbons, unapproachable dad Mark told People Magazine, “She unequivocally had a lot of fun.” He added, “I’m in assign of a shoe shining. Kelly does a ribbons.”

SALMAN KHAN IN "DABAANG"

There has always been a lot of hype and wait for Salman Khan films and his fans eagerly wait to see the favorite star on screen. Dabaang is the upcoming film producer by Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan.


Producer, Arbaaz Khan doesn’t deny the fact that a lot of Salman’s inputs were incorporated into Dabangg even after the film was completed. Arbaaz also said that,. “Salman is a very experienced superstar. This happens to be his brother’s production. He is the star of the film. I considered every suggestion from Salman and incorporated them accordingly. Yes, "Wanted" was his big action release in 2009. We want Dabangg to be his bigger action movie in 2010."



The star cast of Dabaang includes Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of Shatrughan Sinha who is making her debut in Hindi films with the movie. The director of Dabaang is Abhinav Kashyap and the story of the film is set in Uttar Pradesh. The film targets the many loopholes that our corrupt system has and revolves much around a corrupt cop played by Salman Khan. His fans will see Salman Khan with a moustache and a police uniform as the star plays the role of a cop in the movie Dabaang. But this time the actor wears negative shades to his role and depicts the character of a corrupt policeman in the film.

Dabaang is one more action packed thriller by Salman Khan and this time the actor has reportedly taken keen interest in many of the film’s aspects hugely welcomed by brother Arbaaz Khan . Arbaaz was quoted saying, “In Dabaang we welcome Salman’s inputs warmly. He has added considerably to the film’s overall mood and feeling, especially in the action scenes.”

KATIE HOLMES WITH TOM CRUISE : "THE ROMANTICS"

The Hollywood power couple, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise posed for pictures outside the AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 theater venue before strolling through the arrivals carpet en route to the night’s special preview of Katie’s new flick.

The 31 years old actress, Katie Holmes with her husband, Tom Cruise hit the red carpet together at The Cinema Society’s screening of her new film, The Romantics, in New York City.

Earlier in the day Miss Holmes made stops to “Live with Regis and Kelly” and the “Late Show with David Letterman” while also partaking in a press conference.

Talking about how romantic and supportive her “Top Gun” hubby happens to be, Katie dished, “My husband has red roses for me everywhere I go and whenever we travel.”

As for “The Romantics”, the Galt Niederhoffer directed film co-stars Josh Duhamel and Anna Paquin, with a release date set for this Friday, September 10th.
