DEMI LOVATO - "I WANTED TO START MY LIFE OVER"

At last, Demi Lovato opened up about her personal struggle with the pressure to be perfect and dished the real reasons why she decided to seek outside treatment.

The 18-year-old disclosed intimate details of the emotional and physical issues she's dealt with in the May issue of "Seventeen" magazine, telling, "I basically had a nervous breakdown. I was really bad off. My parents and my manager pulled me aside and said, 'You need to get some help.' It was an intervention."

The Disney star also revealed what led her to finally seek treatment, saying, "I wanted freedom from the inner demons. I wanted to start my life over."

Demi, who has partnered with the magazine and the Jed Foundation for the ""Love is Louder Than The Pressure to Be Perfect" campaign, explained, "My fans have been such an incredible support system for me -- I hope I can repay this and help other girls learn from my experiences," adding, "I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she's worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything."

SALMAN AND SHAHRUKH STILL AVOID EACH OTHER

Bollywood’s famous Khans – Salman and Shah Rukh are like two grouchy boys, who try to avoid each other despite shooting not more than a couple of meters away.

Apparently, there was an obvious anxiety in the air yesterday evening at Filmistan Studios, Mumbai where SRK and Salman were shooting for their respective films.

Interestingly, the units on both the sets expected an altercation of sorts that never took place because SRK-Salman kept to their vans.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “Salman has been shooting for Atul and Alvira Agnihotri`s ‘Bodyguard’ for the last few days in Filmistan on the the third floor. SRK began shooting on the first floor. Sallu was shooting a crucial scene and so SRK`s entry had everyone on the ‘Bodyguard’ sets on tenterhooks.”

It is a known fact that two actors haven`t made their peace ever since they had an ugly spat at Katrina`s birthday bash three years ago.

“It was all fun for the ‘Bodyguard’ unit and the shoot was moving along smoothly. SRK`s visit made them go into a tense huddle though shooting continued as normally as before. No-one knew how Salman would react to his dushman being in the vicinity.”

"SRK would leave his van and just go to the studio and shoot as would Salman, who is otherwise known to sit outside his van chatting with his friends and people who drop in to meet him. The ‘Bodyguard’ unit finally heaved a sigh of relief after Shah Rukh left around midnight,” finally added the source.

KATE HUDSON - PREGNANT BRAZILIAN BIKINI BABE

Showing off her baby bump, Kate Hudson was seen having a blast in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil yesterday afternoon.

Joined by her boyfriend/babydaddy Matthew Bellamy and his Muse bandmate Dominic Howard, the “Fool’s Gold” gal did some kayaking during breaks from working on her tan.

Kate and Matthew have been an item since last spring, and Hudson says she’s happy with the way things are.

"I don't feel it necessary to get married. I am 31, I already have one child, and have had one divorce, so it is not necessarily the golden ticket. I just want to be happy."

AMITABH CRACKED JOKE ON SOUTH SUPERSTAR, RAJNIKANTH

Amitabh Bachchan cracked a pleasing tongue-in-cheek joke on south superstar Rajnikanth on his Twitter page. But this hasn’t gone down well with certain people.

Big B wrote: “Someone sent me this on mobile – “When Graham Bell discovered the telephone, he found two missed calls from Rajnikant !!” Brilliant.”

Soon, the superstar corrected the minor mistake and wrote: “Ok ! Graham Bell ‘invented’ the telephone … not ‘discovered’ as written earlier .. in Rajni joke .. !!! Apologies !!”

But the joke wasn’t well-received by fans in Twitter world, some of whom actually got quite angry.
Big B then clarified, “Not making fun of him …praising his status and his greatness ..he is noble successful humble person , and revered like a God.”

Big B and Rajnikanth are close friends, of course, and have worked together in the past. Do you think Big B’s joke was in good humor or bad taste?

MILEY CYRUS WITH HER YOUNGER SISTER, NOAH

Spending a little quality time with her younger sister, Miley Cyrus enjoyed a family day as the two were seen picking up food from Sharky's in Los Angeles.

The "Hannah Montana" star stayed casual in ripped denim jeans, a vintage Harley Davidson t-shirt and a studded leather jacket while Noah opted for TOMs slip-on shoes and a printed sweater over her denim attire.

With the two Cyrus ladies toting their own iPhones in hand, Miley tweeted of the day's doings, "Getting my nails done with @theBrandiCyrus @partyyandnoiee and my mommy :) girls day is the best!"

The outing comes as Miss Cyrus recently revealed that she's lined up for her first appearance on Oprah since 2007 - with the sure-to-be juicy episode set to air on Wednesday, April 13th.

YUVRAJ SINGH IS IN LOVE WITH AMISHA

The romance between Bollywood and Cricket is eternal. If Bollywood patronises cricket, then our cricketers return the favor with romance! The latest news making the rounds of Tinsel Town is that our cricketing-hero, Man of the entire World Cup Series, Yuvraj Singh seems to have bowled another Bollywood maiden over!

After Kim Sharma and Deepika Padukone, Yuvraj seems to have charmed the petite Ameesha Patel! For the uninitiated, it may be interesting to know that Ameesha was Yuvi’s special guest at the World Cup’s finals with Sri Lanka.

The Bollywood beauty was seen cheering for him all through his bowling spell and so loudly did she scream, when he was nearly run out, that she ended up scaring Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor sitting adjacent to her! So full of praise and gushy did our Bollywood belle get, that it left you wondering if she was more enamoured by the cricketer or his game, which incidentally was one of Yuvi’s best performances as bowler, fielder and batsman!

So, will Cupid’s latest victims go blasé about their relationship, like some of our new-gen Bollywood couples who make no bones about their coupling, or will they stick to the conventionally-unbelievable and boring route of ‘we are just good friends’ yet again? Guess we’ll have to wait and watch!

MEL GIBSON VINDICATED BY "HANGOVER2"

The director who wanted Mel Gibson for the sequel to "The Hangover" and then changed his mind and humiliated him by dropping him from the project has changed his mind yet again and now Liam Neeson is out of the role originally slated for Mel in the first place.

Director Todd Phillips wussed out and dropped Mel after the cast objected to him for personal reasons. So Phillips brought Neeson on board and shot Mel's scenes with Neeson. But Phillips's fickle finger struck again and the director decided he wanted Neeson to re-shoot his role.

Sadly, planning wasn't Todd's strong suit and Liam couldn't re-shoot his role because he was already filming "Clash of the TItans 2."

The cursed role has been given to actor Nick Cassavetes for now. But if you're a male actor in your 50s, keep your headshot handy, just in case.

KATRINA KAIF IN LONDON

Katrina Kaif was in London recently. We are still not sure whether she was there for professional commitments or was she nursing a bruised heart.

A friend of the actress reveals, “She is heartbroken. She needed time to recover from the depression.
Her family’s concern was obvious and they ordered her home. Even before she left, she remained confined to her house.”

“The fact that both her relationships with prolific stars haven’t worked out “is hurting her to no end,” says the friend.

But Katrina maintains, “I was in London for an event of an airline I endorse.”

The actress returned on Tuesday and is shooting in Agra for Yash Raj’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

DEMI LOVATO - EATING DISORDER STRUGGLE

Hoping to provide some insight and inspiration to fellow teenage girls, Demi Lovato opened up about her personal struggle with an eating disorder.

The new "Seventeen" magazine contributing editor offered this to readers, “If you are going through that dark period, go to your family and closest friends. Don’t put yourself in danger. It’s very crucial that you get your feelings out - but don’t ever inflict harm on your own body because your body is so sacred. I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she’s worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything.”

Revealing the constant temptation to fall back on old habits, she told, “Yes, there have been times when I definitely have been tempted to get rid of my dinner. But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it’s a life-long disease. I don’t think there’s going to be a day when I don’t think about food or my body, but I’m living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it.”

Demi also disclosed the steps she takes to keep herself safe, saying, “I don’t let anyone’s insecurities, emotions, or opinions bother me. I know that if I am happy, that’s all that matters to me. And it’s okay to be selfish like that sometimes, when it comes to your well-being. Do what makes you happy, and don’t care what others think.”

AKSHAY AND SONAM IN A NEW MOVIE "THANK YOU"

After Welcome, No Problem now its "THANK YOU", Annes Bazmee's seems to have a special liking for these words of expressions. Comedy is the common element in all these films. Even Akshay Kumar is the common factor in Welcome and Thank You.

The last time Akshay Kumar and Anees Bazmee paired up in 2008, the result was an immensely successful Singh Is King. Now, after almost three years, their jodi is back with "THANK YOU", which is hugely inspired by Bazmee's own film, No Entry.

Raj (Bobby Deol), Vikram (Irrfan Khan) and Yogi (Suniel Shetty) treat their respective wives Sanjana (Sonam Kapoor), Karthika (Rimi Sen) and Radha (Celina Jaitley) as ghar ki murgi, dal barabar. Suspecting that her husband Raj is philandering, Sanjana hires the perpetually flute-playing private detective Kishan (Akshay Kumar), who promises to teach the three promiscuous husbands a lesson that they'll never forget.

Anees Bazmee fails to add freshness in a plot which he already showcased in No Entry. All that you get here is busty women, copious songs and humdrum sequences. It also propagates the 'Men are dogs' and 'Women are dumb' philosophies. While nothing significant happens in the first half, the narrative gets slightly better post the interval. But just when you feel the end credits are about to roll, it starts dragging with Raj and Sanjana's spoilt relationship in focus. That's not all. It's followed by a tacky and predictable flashback story of Akshay Kumar.
