SANJAY DUTT IN A NEW LOOK IN "CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR"

Ameesha Patel is ecstatic about her return on the big screen with Sanjay Dutt in CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR. Playing a Mumbai cop, Dutt is shown as someone who is a big fan of spies and is pretty well read on all the famous spy thrillers ever written in different parts of the world. In fact he has also been given a peculiar look that takes a huge departure from the suave persona that he carries and instead lands him in stupidity zone.

'Yeah, you will fall in love with Sanju's look in the film,' laughs Ameesha, 'When I saw him for the first time in that get up, I was amazed. It is so funny and comical. Hats off to Sanju for first agreeing to do a part like this and then managing to carry off his look so well. I am sure audience would have huge bouts of laughter just on seeing the kind of personality that Sanju is carrying in the film.'

While Ameesha seems to be quite happy talking about her much senior co-star here, one wonders what exactly does she get to do in the film. After all she has been missing on the scene for quite a while and one would expect nothing but something really remarkable from the pretty woman out here.

'Well, I am playing the character of Sona who gets caught in a scam by default. The only person in the world who believes her is Chatur and goes all out to help her out,' informs Ameesha, 'This leads to a series of funny incidents involving both of us. We have largely shot this film in South Africa, something that has also lent a visual appeal to the whole comical drama. Locations out there are so stunning.'

Also starring Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Satish Kaushik and Suresh Menon in principal roles, CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR is directed by Ajay Chandok and releases all over on 19th August.

VINAY PATHAK WILL BE SEEN AGAIN IN "BHEJA FRY 2" ON JUNE 17

Joining the ranks of legendary comic franchises is BHEJA FRY with Bollywood's very own tramp Bharat Bhushan!

Following in the footsteps of Hollywood's massively successful Charlie Chaplin series and Peter Seller's PINK PANTHER - the comic adventure that takes us through the antics of a bumbling but good-hearted character is India's first full fledged comic franchise - Sagar Ballary's BHEJA FRY!

After the runaway success of the comic caper BHEJA FRY comes the sequel BHEJA FRY 2 that guarantees to have audiences laughing off their seats. The film promises to carry the mad antics of Vinay Pathak to a higher plain on a much larger canvas than BHEJA FRY Part I

Says a trade source, "Sequels are produced with the hope being that the existence of the original movie provides a built-in audience for the follow-up movie. However very few understand that the film needs to really have a strong connect and fan following - BHEJA FRY has that potential. Audiences looked forward to a sequel right after the film released."

This time around the good hearted but not worldly-wise, tax inspector, Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak) is back to fulfill his long cherished dream of becoming a singer. To further his ambition he enters a game show hoping to win a cash prize with which he can make his own music album. Eventually Bhushan goes on to win the competition which also gifts him a free stay on a cruise ship.

17th June, get ready for BHEJA FRY 2 a roller coaster comic adventure aided by bigger budgets and a bigger starcast that promises to be even bigger, madder and funnier than ever before.

GOVINDA IN "NAUGHTY @ 40"

Is Govinda's next "NAUGHTY @ 40" a straight lift of Steve Carell's Hollywood sex comedy "THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN (2005)?" That's the question making the rounds of the industry ever since the film was announced. Though the voices died down due to two year delay in the completion of the film, they have found momentum all over again with the promos currently on air.

"THE 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN was about a nerdy guy who had never got his 'share of action' despite hitting 40 years of age. Things change for him when he comes across a single mom. Similarly Govinda's character too has not been exposed to birds and bees and things get tough for him when he travels from London to India in hunt of a bride", informs an industry source.

With no official word coming from the makers, the speculations were already on rise that whether just like Govinda's other stuck film BANDA YEH BINDAAS HAI' (which is facing issues due to it's similarities with MY COUSIN VINNY), even NAUGHTY @ 40 was struggling due to fear of copyright infringement. However the film's director Jugmohan Mundhra (aka Jag) is quick to deny any such similarities whatsoever.
