ROBERT PATTINSON WITH KRISTEN STEWART IN "TWILIGHT"

Although he’s happily in love with “Twilight” co-star girlfriend Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson will soon have to focus his attention on a new on-screen love interest.

The Edward Cullen actor will soon begin filming “Cosmopolis -” in which Hollywood new-comer, Sarah Gadon, will play his character’s wife.

The thriller is based on Don DeLillo's novel and is about a risk-taking financial whiz named Eric Parker (played by Pattinson) set in a future world.

As for Gadon, her career has taken off the past several months – as she's found work on ABC’s “Happy Town,” numerous Canadian TV shows and she recently wrapped up two 2011 films: “Dream House” and “A Dangerous Method.”

GAUHAR KHAN IN "GAME" WITH ABHISHEK

 

This Friday will see the release of the Abhinay Deo directed GAME, starring Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Jimmy Shergill, Boman Irani, Kangna Ranaut, Sarah Jane Dias, Shahana Goswami and last but not the least, the sensuous Gauhar Khan.

In the news for her sensational dance number, "Parda", in last year's super hit, Once upon a time in Mumbai, this time around Gauhar is essaying a different role, that of Samara Shroff. So what is her character in GAME all about? Gauhar says, "I cannot reveal much but I can tell you that I am associated with Mr. Anupam Kher."

And what about Abhishek Bachchan? "Oh he is very professional and a very sweet guy and really lightens the proceedings on the sets. Actually most of my scenes in "GAME" are with Abhishek, " adds Gauhar. Signing off she says, "After "Rocket Singh this is another important role for me and I am hoping that GAME is a major success so that I can continue from here!"

"LAST NIGHT” RELEASES NEW TRAILER

 “Last Night” has released a new trailer ahead of its theatrical release.In the film, a married couple is separated and both the husband Sam Worthington and the wife  Keira Knightley are tempted by other lovers.

Speaking of Keira Knightley, she accepted the Empire Hero Award at the Jameson Empire Awards at the Grosvenor House in London, England.

Keira declared, “It was my birthday yesterday, so I want to thank Empire for such a brilliant birthday present; to be made a hero on your 26th birthday is fantastic. I want to thank my agent, who’s here tonight.

SONAKSHI SINHA IN SEARCH OF GLAMOROUS LOOK

Bollywood’s hot and beautiful daughter of veteran actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha is looking out for some glamor these days.

The demanding actress is focusing on changing her village belle image and is all set to don a glamorous avatar for her forthcoming Abbas Mastan film titled ‘Race 2’.

"I believe as an actress one must do different roles. I wanted to change my image from being a traditional girl to a glamorous one. So I signed Race 2," Sinha said, during an interview.

She said that she wanted to shed the "gaon ki gori" image, and so even Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’, opposite Akshay Kumar, will see her in a glam and chic look.

Sonakshi said “I had to first lose weight for my debut film. Now I have to get into even better shape for my two upcoming films Joker and Race 2,” said the actress, who had everyone smitten by her innocent act in ‘Dabangg’ opposite Salman Khan.

The buzz is that Sonakshi is working extra hard on her look in the 'Race' sequel, as she is replacing sultry Bipasha Basu in the movie, and so the stakes are high.

According to Tabloids, Sonakshi is the busiest person in the B-town these days and she makes sure that she attends all functions, to which she is invited.

Spreading her charisma, the actress won two awards at the FICCI awards, courtesy her entry film ‘Dabangg’ that had won the Filmfare Award for the best film of the year 2010.

BIPASHA BASU OPPOSITE RANA DAGGUBATI IN "DUM MAARO DUM"

Southern actor, Rana Daggubati, who is set to make his Bollywood debut in Dum Maaro Dum, has squashed rumours of a relationship with co-star Bipasha Basu.

"I have immense respect for Bipasha as a co-star and it's embarrassing that people should think otherwise. Don't know where the rumors keep creeping up from over and over again!" Daggubati posted on his Twitter page.

The 25-year-old actor, who has been reportedly dating Shriya Saran for the past five years, is said to have had a rift with her -- thanks to his closeness to Bipasha. However, Daggubati has denied anything more than a friendship with Shriya.

"Shriya has known me since I was in college. We've been great friends for over 8 yrs now. All other gossips are false," he added on the Twitter.

DEMI BACK TO WORK

She recently checked out a treatment center to deal with personal issues, but Demi Lovato has just revealed that she's already back to work again - and couldn't be more excited about it.

The 18-year-old took to Twitter yesterday, letting fans know that she's back in the game by writing, "First day back to working. I can't wait to share with you guys what I'm doing today. It's a big day for me. So excited! I love you all"

While Demi didn't say what she was doing, she did reveal whom she was doing it with. "Wow what a very long but successful day today!! I'm so blessed to have my friend @Alexavega with me all day for support!" she wrote, tweeting a photo of her and the "Spy Kids" star together.


Earlier this month, Lovato teased a new project in a similarly mysterious way, not getting into the specifics of what she was planning next. AMITABH AND JAYA FACING CAMERA AFTER LONG TIME

Bollywood’s most wanted celebrated actor couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are finally back together on screen after almost a decade. It isn’t for a film but for a jewellery ad.

While Jaya was styled by her fave designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for the shoot, AB Sr stepped out in an international fashion label. The ad is directed by Prakash Varma.

SONAM KAPOOR WALKS OUT FROM THE SETS OF "MAUSAM"

Sonam Kapoor might be new in Bollywood but that does not stop our beauty from throwing her weight around.

Sonam, who is currently shooting for "Mausam" in Chandigarh, had to wait for her hotel room in and when she reached the sets of the film, the actress was greeted without even a make-up artist and vanity van.

It is believed that Sonam stormed out from the sets in Chandigarh due to the disordered shoot there.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “A few days ago the ‘Mausam’ shoot was going on in Chandigarh. Sonam had to shoot for a song and had flown down to Chandigarh early morning. On reaching the hotel she found out that the room wasn`t booked and she had to wait for more than an hour till she was allotted one. Sonam was all red by then.”

The source continued, “She immediately freshened up and reached the sets. On reaching she realised that her make-up man, vanity van, spot boy, all were missing. None of these facilities, which are mandatory and are supposed to be given by the production house, were given to her. Still she patiently made calls to the production house, asking its staff for her requirements. None of them reverted to her for the longest time. Result: Sonam stormed out from the sets and did not come for shooting.”

KESHA AUSTRALIAN BEACH ADVENTURE

Hollywood hot and sexy, Kesha was seen enjoying herself out on the Australian beach.

The “We R Who We R” songstress pranced around in the water sporting a black string bikini top and granny-panty bottoms in an attempt to cover up her fuller figure.

And at one point, Kesha accidentally slipped a nip while jogging along the sand, much to the delight of her fellow beach goers.

KATRINA TURNS PRODUCER TO LAUNCH SISTER ISABEL

Hollywood singer/actor, Jesse McCartney was seen out at the Westfield Mall in Los Angeles.

He was seen with his new beautiful blonde girlfriend as he walked with his head down to avoid the paparazzi.

Jesse’s new television gig “Locke & Key” looks to be promising, though Joe Hill, the creator of the original comic book, said he wasn’t too sure about bringing McCartney on at first.

“Initially I had my doubts about Jesse, not knowing anything about him except that he had a music career. I watched him perform a couple scenes and was not just impressed, but kind of rattled by how well he brings off Tyler. Jess has depth and gravity and a kind of sweet, bruised innocence that really captures what I was after in the character.”

ANUPAM KHER TURNS 56 TODAY

TODAY, Bollywood famous actor ANUPAM KHER, turns 56 who born on  7th March 1955, who has appeared in nearly 400 films and 100 plays. He has held the post of Chairman of the Censor Board and National School of Drama in India.

EARLY LIFE:-

Anupam Kher was born into a Kashmiri Pandit family, and lived in Shimla and did his schooling from D.A.V. School in Shimla. He is an alumni and former chairperson of the National School of Drama. Some of his early acting was in plays performed at Himachal Pradesh University.

CAREER:-

Kher made his acting debut in the 1982 Hindi movie Aagman. Then in 1984 came Saaransh, where he played a retired man who has lost his son. He hosted TV shows such as Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle, Sawaal Dus Crore Ka and the recent Lead India. He has had many comic roles but has also played the villain such as his acclaimed role as terrorist Dr. Dang in Karma (1986). For his role in Daddy (1989) he received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance. Kher has won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role five times, more than any other actor.

He has starred alongside Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan many times in films such as Darr (1993), Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Chaahat (1996), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein (2000) and Veer-Zaara (2004).

He ventured into directing with Om Jai Jagadish (2003) and has also been a producer. He produced and starred in the film Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005). He received the Best Actor Award from the Karachi International Film Festival for his performance in the film.

Kher is known internationally for Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Bride and Prejudice (2004), his appearance on the hit TV show ER, and most recently in The Mistress of Spices (2006) and Lust, Caution (2007).

Kher has written and starred in a play about his own life called Kuch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai, which is directed by Feroz Abbas Khan.

Until recently he served as chairman of the Indian Film Censor Board. He is an alumnus of National School of Drama (1978 batch) and was its director between 2001 and 2004.

PERSONAL LIFE:-

Anupam Kher is married to fellow actor Kirron Kher. Her son, his stepson, is actor Sikander Kher. His brother, Raju Kher is also an actor, who appeared in Anupam's directorial debut Om Jai Jagadish.

In 2007, Anupam Kher, with his batchmate of NSD, Satish Kaushik, started a film production company, Karol Bagh Productions. Their first film, Tere Sang, is being directed by Satish Kaushik.

He has recently been appointed the goodwill ambassador of the Pratham Education Foundation, which strives to improve children's education in India.

He is also widely regarded as an intellectual talk show participant.
