NEW MOVIE "LOOT" TO RELEASE IN BIHAR ON CHATT POOJA OCCASION

Viacom 18's forthcoming film LOOT hits the screens across India on Friday but the production house has planned a gift for their audience in Bihar for Chatt Pooja.

LOOT will release on Wednesday (2nd Nov 2011) in Bihar as it's one of the most auspicious festivals in the state. Director Rajnish Thakur was happy with this decision, he added, "I am also from Patna, I know the importance of Chatt Pooja in North India. I think releasing the film on the auspicious day will bring good luck to my film."

LOOT is a hilarious story of four extremely unskilled crooks (Suniel Shetty, Govinda, Javed Jaffrey and Mahakshay) who are out to steal precious jewels from Bangkok. Notorious for their inefficiency; Pandit, Akbar, Builder and Wilson are definitely in for more trouble than what they preempt.

LOOT is all set to hit the screens this Friday, November 4th 2011.

MITHUN'S SON, MIMOH CHAKRABORTY IN "HAUNTED 3D"

Son of legendary actor, Mahakshay Chakraborty (Mimoh) will be seen performing some deadly stunts in Vikram Bhatt's upcoming film "HAUNTED" - India's first stereoscopic 3D film. Audiences will be pleasantly surprised to see Mahakshay looking refreshingly different in HAUNTED and performing some daredevil stunts himself. Action director Abbas Ali Moghul and everyone in the unit were very apprehensive about him performing the stunts. However, Mahakshay not only refused to use a body double but also relentlessly pushed himself for few of the action scenes.

Says Abbas, "Mahakshay has performed some deadly stunts himself in the movie. I remember a particular sequence where a chandelier falls on Mimoh and on the timing he had to roll on the ground before the chandelier bursts beside him. We were a little worried but Mimoh decided to do it all by himself. Though everyone on the sets suggested we use a body double but Mahakshay was very excited on doing it himself."
