DREW BARRYMORE WAS SPOTTED IN ABC STUDIO IN NEW YORK CITY

Stepping out for a media appearance, Drew Barrymore was seen at ABC Studios in New York City.

The “Never Been Kissed” actress dropped by “Good Morning America” to talk about her upcoming movie “Big Miracle,” due in theaters on February 3rd.

She explained, “I play this woman who in real life is named Cindy Lowery and she’s a Green Peace advocate, and the news media broke this story in 1988 of these three California grey whales that got trapped in the Arctic Shelf near Alaska. And she got wind of it and sort of really galvanized all of the political people around her.”

“And then this story just grew and grew and grew. Like Tom Brokaw loved this story. This was something that was in his wheelhouse of things he wanted to talk about at the end of the program. Much like today in the strangest of ways, there’s like this social media aspect in the way that it was really the news that got the people to focus on this and it grabbed the kids’ attention and they wanted to know what happened with the whales. But then it grew and it became political and environmental.”

KATIE HOLMES - SEEN AT ABC STUDIOS IN NEW YORK CITY

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Katie Holmes was seen at ABC Studios in New York City earlier today.

The “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” actress was in the house to talk about her brand new movie “Jack and Jill” also starring Adam Sandler.

When asked about the mood on the set, Katie explained, “I was laughing the whole time. I had so much fun working on this movie. I’ve always been a fan of Adam’s and all of his work, so I just loved every minute being on the set.”

Holmes also noted that the flick was chock full of cameos from folks like Al Pacino and Shaquille O’Neal. “It really makes for… it adds to the already-good feeling that you have when you’re watching the movie because you get to see all of these people that you love.”

As for how she decided to take the gig, Katie shared, “Number one, Adam Sandler. I hosted “SNL” years ago but I haven’t really done a lot of comedy, so it was really exciting to go into this world and to work with the best… You know, Adam is such a great guy and I’ve always wanted to work with him. So when you get that call it’s like, ‘Yeah, when? I’ll be there!.”
