REBECCA BLACK - CONFESSED THAT SHE IS NOT PREGNANT

 She hasn’t even been in the spotlight six months, and already Rebecca Black has fallen victim to Hollywood rumors.

Over the weekend, the “Friday” singer was forced to deal with a bout of gossip claiming that she was pregnant.

Putting the rumor to rest, Black tweeted on Sunday, “I thought it was May 15th…not April Fools Day. I’m absolutely NOT PREGNANT.”

According to E! Online, a CNN iReport picked up the false story, which then spread like wildfire until Rebecca set the record straight.

MAHESH BHATT MAKING FILM ON IRAQ

Bollywood most popular filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt is currently making news for his first play as a producer that highlights the plight of the Iraqi people. The play titled: THE LAST SALUTE, is based on a book written by the Iraqi journalist Muntazer-al-Zaidi, who became world famous after hurling shoes on American president George Bush in 2008.

The play is getting rave reviews in India. Mahesh Bhatt had invited the Iraqi Journalist to watch the play in Delhi recently.

Speaking to us about his play, Mahesh Bhatt says, "It was heartening to see the response to this play. It is for the time that we are looking beyond the biased media reporting and touching the real issues that the people of Iraq are beset with. Sometimes I feel if I as a filmmaker can see what is happening in Iraq, I wonder why the media can't fathom the real issue."

So, would we see him making a film on this play that depicts the angst of the Iraqi people, the filmmaker adds, "It would really need courage to make a film on this subject. At the moment I am trying to showcase my play to more people and we are planning to take it to Dubai soon."

Mahesh Bhatt, who has always been vocal about the plight of the Iraqi people, has taken the lead to bring the suffering of the Iraqi's on a public platform.

JESSICA ALBA WITH HER DAUGHTER, HONOR MARIE

Hollywood celebrity, Jessica Alba was seen with her daughter, Honor Marie arriving on a flight at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

Back from a sunny Cabo San Lucas getaway, the expecting actress was fresh-faced as she made her way through the airport in a pink scarf, gray t-shirt, and baggy beige pants.

Prior to her out of town excursion, the momma-to-be opened up about pregnancy the second time around, telling Us Weekly, "It's just simply not as daunting of a process. Before everything was happening for the first time and it's like, 'What's going on?' and 'What does this mean?'"

Miss Alba continued, "I would look everything up online, I had all my books; I diagnosed myself with everything that can go wrong. Of course nothing went wrong, thank God! I guess I'm sort of more at ease with it all."

VANESSA HUDGENS AND JAMIE FOXX IN BELVEDERE RED PARTY

Hollywood most hottest and sexiest, Vanessa Hudgens was seen at the Belvedere Red party in Cannes.

The former "High School Musical" star was on-hand with a gal pal as they pair of ladies joined up with actor Jamie Foxx for the celebration of the European launch of Belvedere Red featuring a performance by Duran Duran at the VIP Room Famous Club.

The previous night, Hudgens was busy socializing at the Calvin Klein party in Cannes, during which time she spoke with MTV about her upcoming big screen indie film, "Gimme Shelter."

She told, "It's really exciting. It follows a young girl that's been in foster homes and abused her whole life and is practically homeless and ends up turning into a mother. So it's an amazing character."

As for her filming plans, the 22-year-old told, "I leave from [Cannes] and go straight to New York and start my prep."

SALMAN WITH KATRINA IN THEIR NEXT MOVIE "EK THA TIGER"

Bollywood superstars, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will now be seen in Yash Raj Films next movie, EK THA TIGER , especially in the times when they are no longer a pair in real life.

"The million dollar question is - 'Will they able to be pull it off in the film?' Despite being actors, it is difficult for anyone to be normal in front of the camera when there has been so much speculation around their personal relationship for all this while. Also, even on screen they haven't been dynamite either with YUVVRAAJ, their only true blue romantic tale, being a disaster," says a trade analyst.

Salman and Katrina had come together in MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA as well which was a success but then didn't have any moments of any on-screen chemistry being ignited as it was a comedy instead of being a romance drama. Also, their biggest hit together till date, PARTNER, had Kat paired opposite Govinda.
"Please don't bring in the talk about 'chemistry' without knowing what EK THA TIGER is all about. Do you even know what Salman and Katrina do in the film," says a close associate of the two actors when asked if he feels audience would be deprived of chemistry between the two.

He even grows on to throw a salvo, "A bad film like YUVVRAAJ couldn't have been salvaged by any actor, leave aside the two of them. It is the power of script that brings in chemistry and Yash Raj Films along with director Kabir Khan can well be expected to have done their home work well."

PRINCE WILLIAM AND KATE MIDDLETION - ON THEIR WAY TO HONEYMOON

Both Prince William and Kate are said to have "total privacy" while honeymooning on the islands of Seychelles.

Farhad Vladi, the man who rented the couple's next destination, North Island, to them, revealed that the private getaway is quite popular amongst the world's elite, telling Us Weekly, "Bill Gates was on Fregate Island… Paul McCartney and Heather Mills were on Cousin, another island in the Seychelles," he said. " Angelina Jolie was on North Island with Brad Pitt."

Vladi added, "What people like about North Island is that you have total privacy."

A recent visitor offered up details of their luxurious stay, gushing, It's pretty much the best place in the world… It's very romantic. The staff fill your baths… and they put champagne on ice. All your drinks are included in the price."

AAMIR KHAN TO HOST A CHAT SHOW

Now Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan will be on a TV show. The maverick Khan has been approached to host a chat show and if sources are to be believed, Aamir has agreed upon the proposal.

The show is believed to be on the lines of the hugely popular The Oprah Winfrey show and if all goes well, Siddharth Basu`s Big Synergy will produce it for Aamir.

As far as the details about the show are concerned, the programme will largely addresses the common man`s problems. Khan is said to have warmed up to this concept, as it deals with issues pertaining to the ordinary citizens of the country.

The format undertakes picking one person from the multitude and talking about any issue, injustice or a personal problem that the person is dealing with.

The show will begin with a documentary on the person`s life and the issue that he is grappling with. Following that, there would be a segment where Aamir would interview the person concerned in a packed studio.

Well, it definitely sounds interesting, let’s see how the show fairs once it debuts on TV!

VANESSA HUDGENS - LOOKING CUTE AND CASUAL

Hollywood most hottest and sexiest celebrity, Vanessa Hudgens was looking cute and casual in Los Angeles, California.

The "High School Musical" alum was decked out in an Indiana Jones inspired top paired with a long black skirt, a fedora hat and shades as she grabbed up lunch at Vivian's cafe.

The outing comes a day after Miss Hudgens was busy filming a spot for "Funny Or Die" - though no other details on the project have been made available as of yet.

After wrapping up her "Funny or Die" sketch, Vanessa paired up with gal pal Laura New for a night on the town at Hollywood hotspot Trousdale.

EKTAKAPOOR AND TUSHAR KAPOOR'S MOVIE RELEASED ON MAY 13

Tusshar Kapoor's LOVE U MR. KALAKAAR! clashes with sister Ekta Kapoor's RAGINI MMS this weekend. While one would have assumed that none of the two siblings would have been overtly pleased with the developments and would have requested the other to arrive later, the fact is that there was no such trouble no paradise as it turned out to be a mutually acceptable decision for both.

"I guess there is room for both the films and since other biggies would be arriving in June, we would have a fortnight for ourselves. We couldn't find a better date for release. Also, we had to look at IPL as a major factor," says Tusshar.

How about audience getting divided?

"Audience for a Rajshri film is different from the ones who would be watching RAGINI MMS," says Tusshar with a straight face, "When Rajshri released their VIVAAH with APNA SAPNA MONEY MONEY, it was a huge success as well. While RAGINI is for urban audience which is into horror genre, LOVE U.... is a simple family entertainer that would have its reach in smaller towns as well."

The fact remains though that neither Ekta nor Tusshar were too keen to have RAGINI MMS and LOVE U MR. KALAKAAR clash with each other. After all they would have wanted to avoid eating into each other's business for obvious reasons.

Informs a close friend, "However when they checked the release calendar, it was filled with Salman's READY, a strong franchise DOUBLE DHAMAAL and also Hrithik's ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA. It was obvious that instead of taking on these biggies, it was better to come with other small to medium budget films even if it meant clashing with one's own."
