EMMA STONE WAS SEEN IN BLACK SCOOPNECK TOP AND JEANS

Taking some much-deserved time off, Emma Stone was seen out and about in Hollywood yesterday afternoon.

The “Help” hottie was joined by some of her gal pals as she made her way around town, sporting a black scoopneck top and jeans.

In a recent interview, Emma told press that while the Spider- Man/Mary Jane upside down kiss from 2002 was iconic, she and Andrew Garfield aren’t looking to duplicate the past.

“Why would we do an upside-down kiss? I’m not Mary Jane. I’m Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man film. New girl. New kiss. I wanted to do different kisses to make our mark.”

Miss Stone also noted that “The Amazing Spider-Man” isn’t the only project she’s pumped about. “It’s an incredibly exciting time. I’m part of a few movies I’m so excited about, which is fantastic. These are stories I was dying to tell, which is pretty rare, because there is so much junk out there."

JOHN ABRAHAM IN ALLAN AMIN'S "FORCE"

Well-known action director Allan Amin was the one to introduce Bollywood with the concept of stylized action and special effects. He all started with MISSION KASHMIR followed with QAYAMAT: CITY UNDER THREAT, DHOOM series, DUS, CHOCOLATE: DEEP DARK SECRETS and many more. However his upcoming action film "FORCE" starring John Abraham doesn't consist of the stylized action, which is in vogue.

Allan says FORCE is much different from his other films as the action here is much real, 'The action in FORCE is all real. We haven't made use of cables or any equipment or special effects for that matter. Moreover John has good caliber who did all the stunts by himself. What with lifting a bike or jumping off from a great height he did it all without the help of cables or airbags. And must say he performed it quite naturally.'

Certainly whatever Allan does he does it with much elan and elegance but what about the audiences who are used to watching stylized action these days and under such circumstances how FORCE action will appeal to the masses? To which he answers, "No it's completely stylized in its own way but without losing its originality. When you'll watch the film you'll come to know."

Ask him if it became a time consuming process to have real action and he says, "Though time consuming but it was fun shooting it naturally."

He may have designed best of the action sequences for the various films he did in his career but finds FORCE as his most challenging action film till date. "Yes FORCE has been the most challenging film in my career as it was all done without using any cables or any other aid," says Allan.

Allan further talks about the most difficult and the best action sequence in FORCE. "The most difficult was the one where John goes running behind several buses lined up and jumps from one bus to another as it was to be shot without the use of cables. While the best one was the bike sequence where John lifts the heavy bike and throws it. Actually I just asked John to lift it halfway but he decisively lifted the whole bike. Even the introduction scene of FORCE is one to watch out for."

Allan and John's bonding dates back to the time when John was about to make his mark in the industry. Says Allan, "I know John from long time. We have worked together for the films like KAAL, DHOOM, etc. We share a good rapport. There is a sort of good understanding and comfort level between us."

Ask him about the return of action genre or the genre gaining its lost glory and the prudent action master says, "It's just a phase of life where everything comes and goes back."

Allan becomes diplomatic when it comes to selecting his favourite action hero in Bollywood. "Everybody is good. I enjoy working with all of them," says Allan on a parting note.

GHAJINI VILLIAN, RETURNS AS "RAJDHARBHAU" IN "SHABRI"

Remember Pradeep Rawat, who played a dreadful villain "Ghajini" in Aamir Khan's blockbuster GHAJINI, named after the villain's name, is back to send a shiver down your spine, with his villainous act in upcoming film "SHABRI" directed by Lalit Marathe. Pradeep plays a crucial villain called Rajdharbhau in the film.

However, unlike GHAJINI where he made the protagonists of the film cry it seems Pradeep Rawat, who plays a cruel baddie in the film SHABRI, will be seen shedding some tears. As it so happened that while shooting for a scene he got so inspired that he refused to make use of glycerin and instead shed real tears for it.

The entire unit spontaneously stood up and clapped at the end of the shot. The moment is captured on camera during the making of the film.

Produced by Ram Gopal Varma SHABRI stars Isha Koppikar in the lead and all set to hit the screens on 26th August 2011.

DOUTZEN KROES FEATURED IN "VICTORIA'S SECRET SWIMWEAR, 2011 PHOTO SHOOT"

Giving ladies (and gentlemen) more reasons to hit the beach this summer, Doutzen Kroes is featured in a new Victoria’s Secret Swimwear 2011 photo shoot.

The Dutch dame looks amazing in the various swim suits, ranging from more conservative one-pieces to super skimpy bikinis.

And it sounds like Doutzen is looking to make her way into the acting realm, as she’s starring in a new flick called “Nova Zembla.”

Kroes and fellow model Gemma Ward are working under the direction of Reinout Oerlemans on the 3D flick about a 1965 shipwreck. “Nova Zembla” hits theaters in the Netherlands on November 24th.

BOTH AJAY DEVGAN AND SANJAY DUTT IN "RASCALS"

The first trailer of David Dhawan's upcoming film "RASCALS" is out. If the first trailer is any indication of things, RASCALS offers much fun and masala in a true David Dhawan andaaz.

The out-an-out comedy stars powerhouse performers like Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan, Arjun Rampal and Kangana Ranaut. Sanjay and Ajay, who have their unique respective style of entertaining, will tickle the funny bones with their great comic timing in RASCALS. It seems Arjun Rampal plays a baddie in the film. The best part is when Sanjay and Ajay blow their own trumpets by using their respective films (ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI and VAASTAV) as examples.

Another high point is the leading lady of the film - Kangana Ranaut for whom the two RASCALS vie for. The National award winning actress goes ultra glam for RASCALS. What with Kangana flaunting her sexy curves in a hot white bikini. This is the first time the dazzling lady dons a bikini for her film.

The film also stars AISHA fame Lisa Haydon.

Here's a sneak peak at the theatrical promo of the film RASCALS.

VETERAN ACTOR, SHAMMI KAPOOR IS DEAD

Veteran actor, Shammi Kapoor, who ruled the late 1950s and 1960s with his unique style and versatile range, passed away on Sunday, 14th August, 2011 at the Breach Candy Hospital here, family sources said.

He was 79. He is survived by his wife Neela Devi, son Aditya Raj and daughter Kanchan Desai.
According to the sources, he was on dialysis for the last few years and was undergoing the procedure at least thrice a week. He was on Saturday admitted to the ICU of the hospital.

The actor, who made his debut in Bollywood in 1953, when the film Jeevan Jyoti was released, carved out a niche for himself with the superhit Junglee in 1961.

His new image took ground and his subsequent films were all in this genre later.

Kapoor, hailed as 'Elvis Presley of India', joined the silver screen at a time when his elder brother Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar were the reigning trio.

Kapoor was suffering from chronic renal failure, family sources said. The funeral will take place on Monday morning, they said.

Born Shamsher Raj Kapoor on October 21, 1931, Kapoor was the second son of veteran theatre and film actor Prithviraj Kapoor.

Despite his family background, Shammi's entry into Bollywood was initially not successful even though he worked with major heroines like Madhubala in Rail ka Dibba, Suraiya in Shama Parwana and Nalini Jaywant in Hum Sab Chor Hai.

His initial movies flopped at the Box Office. He reinvented himself with Tumsa Nahi Dekha cutting his hair in the famous duck-tail style of the 50s and never looked back since then.

With the success of Junglee in 1961, an entire decade reeled under its colourful impact.

Shammi heralded the swinging 60s and a large part of his appeal was primarily due to the immensely catchy and upbeat numbers like Suku Suku, O Haseena Zulfo Wali, Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyar Ke Charche, Aaja Aaja Main Hoon Pyar Tera where he was at his boisterous best.

Even though success came with light weight tales like Kashmir Ki Kali, Rajkumar, Jaanwar and An Evening in Paris, his performances in flicks like Junglee, Badtameez, Bluff Master, Pagla Kahin Ka, Teesri Manzil, Brahmachari silenced his critics.

Andaz, which released in 1971, was his last movie as a leading man but his character roles in Vidhata, Hero and Prem Rog were well received.

Shammi was a computer aficionado and his last years were veered towards spiritualism.
