Making her trek around the land down under, Vanessa Hudgens was seen arriving at the Sydney Airport in Sydney, Australia.

The “High School Musical” cutie looked to be in good spirits as she strolled through the terminal in a stylish printed dress with a bright purple scarf.

Vanessa has been hanging out in Aussie land this week to do promotion for her brand new movie “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.”

On Monday, Miss Hudgens and her costar Josh Hutcherson had an awkward moment when the host of Australia’s “Today” show asked them how long they’ve been dating. Though they dated once awhile back, Vanessa is currently in a relationship with Austin Butler. Thankfully they were able to laugh it off and move on.

KATRINA WITH RAJNIKANTH IN A TAMIL MOVIE

If things turn out as planned, cine lovers down South would get to see the unique pairing of South superstar Rajnikanth with Bollywood’s reigning beauty Katrina Kaif in the forthcoming flick ‘Kochadaiyaan’.

The film will be directed by Rajnikanth’s daughter Saundarya and the movie will have Rajni sir play the role of a long-haired king who is a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. Katrina will play the king’s love interest and the film will also have the two shoot for a romantic number composed by music maestro A.R.Rahman. The film will be made in 3D using the performance capturing technology used by James Cameron in the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar.

South is not a new arena for Kaif who has already worked in two Telugu films (Malliswari and Allari Pidugu) and a Malayalam movie (Balaram Vs Taradas). Kochadaiyaan will be her first Tamil film though, of course, only if she can manage to squeeze out some dates from the diaries of three Khans with whom she is currently busy with!!

Ending the weekend with a lovers' stroll, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield had a hands-on outing in New York City last Sunday.

The "Amazing Spider-Man" co-star couple could be seen holding hands and kissing as they did some shopping at Parke and Ronen before eating at Tipsy Parson restaurant in Chelsea.

The sighting comes as Emma and Andrew's relationship continues to bloom ever since the pair started dating during the filming of their upcoming comic book based film.

DIRTY PICTURE GIRL, VIDYA IS NOW IN DEMAND FOR STAGE PERFORMANCE

‘The Dirty Picture’ has turned out to be a major milestone in Vidya Balan’s career as the movie has suddenly turned Vidya from mature actress to a glamorous and sexy one. Though Vidya has always been the critic’s favourite owing to her crisp performances, but she had never been considered as a hot and demanded actress for events and stage shows. However, the actress has suddenly become a much sought after actress by event organisers, who are now offering her Rs 50 to 75 lakh to perform at shows. Vidya is also being asked for performances in award shows. Apart from being approached to perform on the ‘Ooh la la’ and ‘Naaka mukka’ tracks, she’s also being offered a handsome fee, averaging to about Rs 50 lakh per event.

Talking about sudden increase in demand for Vidya’s performances, Mohammed Morani, one of the top event organisers says, “A chartbusting song and a super hit film is what is required of a star for the award functions.”

However, Morani refuses to talk about money being offered to her. Instead, he said, “Vidya is getting good money.”

LILY COLLINS MAKING HER WAY TO HOLLYWOOD

Her name is one we may as well get used to hearing because Lily Collins is making her way up the Hollywood ladder.

The “Abduction” actress is the first picked cast member to join Sam Raimi’s big-screen remake of “Evil Dead,” according to Bloody Disgusting.

Raimi is set to produce with original franchise partners Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell while Fede Alvarez will direct the film and Ghost House Pictures partners Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane will executive produce.

Collins, who will soon be seen as Snow White in “Mirror Mirror,” will begin filming for “Evil Dead” in New Zealand in the near future.

VIVEK OBEROI WAS PAID 80 LAKH FOR NON - PERFORMANCE ON NEW YEAR EVE

Vivek Oberoi had put in lot of efforts to rehearse for his new year performance which was supposed to take place at Country Club in Andheri, but unfortunately the bash could not take place due to police intervention. The police alleged that the organizers had not taken the required permission to hold the bash.

Since the crowd of 2000 people who had bought tickets for the show were getting angry and out of control, Vivek was advised to leave the venue for his safety. The drama did not end here because while Vivek was on his way back home, he was called up once again for the performance on the plea that everything had been sorted out. Vivek returned only to find the things in the same mess.

Nevertheless, Vivek Oberoi was paid Rs. 80 lakh as promised by the organizers. So, show or no show, New Year gave Vivek what was promised to him!!
