VIDYA BALAN was speaking during one of the panel discussions at FICCI Frames 2012 on the subject of 'Women in Media & Entertainment circa 2012: Leading From the Front?' The session was moderated by Rajeev Masand and Barkha Dutt, Ekta Kapoor, Jeni Tosi, Usha Uthup, and Anuradha Prasad were the other participants. The panel focused on the journey and the challenges women achievers in the media and entertainment industry have to traverse and their current success and stature in a world that has primarily been a male bastion.

To a question if she aspires to work with Khans, contrary to what everyone believes, she replied in an affirmative. She would love to work with Khans if an opportunity comes her way. She also added that she had been fortunate to be offered good scripts and varied roles that allow her to explore herself as an actor. Adding a personal note she said that the success of her last few films has helped her feel comfortable about herself. On being asked if she ever felt discriminated against as a woman, she said she was brought up in an environment where no restrictions were put on her because she was a girl. She could do what she wanted to and never ever felt disadvantaged because of her gender.

SPRING BREAKER'S BABES FOUND TOGETHER IN TREASURE ISLAND

Cranking out their new film “Spring Breakers,” Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, and Ashley Benson were seen filming by a pool in Treasure Island, Florida last night (March 14).

The “High School Musical” babe was spotted flaunting her super fine form and smoking a sketchy-looking cigarette in a hotel room along with her “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe costar.

The “Spring Breakers” ladies have been getting crazy in a host of different scenarios as they portray characters who rob a restaurant to fund their vacation only to be jailed and bailed out by a drug dealer who enlists them in his business

Miss Hudgens told press, "I think at the end of the day you have to do parts that you could semi-relate to. I'm certainly not one who is going to rob a bank, but there is a part of me that loves smashing things and I get to do that."

TODAY, bollywood actor, ABHAY DEOL turns 36! The talented actor, who is known for choosing spectacular offbeat Bollywood films.

Not being a party animal, there will be no such birthday bash for the actor but he will probably go out for a dinner with girlfriend Preeti Desai and some close friends.

Abhay is happy to bag a role in Prakash Jha's next venture. Abhay will be playing the lead role in the film and is very excited about it. According to rumours, Abhishek Bachchan was supposed to play the role in the film.

Showing some love to her faithful fans, Kim Kardashian posted a racy photo to her Twitter account yesterday morning (March 13).

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe was only wearing a pair of pink bloomers, and maintained her modesty by covering her top half with a white sheet.

Kim tweeted, “Can’t sleep tonight...” as an explanation that perhaps she was feeling a little bored and frisky, hence the photo.

Additionally, yesterday marked the release of the Kardashian Kollection lingerie for Sears. Khloe blogged, "OMG how fab is this new ad for Kardashian Kollection lingerie?!? Nothing makes me feel sexier, plus it’s all so comfy! Killing two birds with one stone! LOL.”

TODAY the perfectionist - actor-director-producer Aamir Khan celebrates his 47th birthday.

However, this year instead of celebrating his birthday with his family, Khan would be working for a new upcoming TV show.

Khan started his acting career as a child artist in the film YAADON KI BAARAAT (1973). His first commercial break was with QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK (1988), which earned him National Film Award (Special Jury Award).

JENNIFER LAWRENCE COVES GLAMOUR UK APRIL, 2012

Her star just keeps rising higher and higher, and Jennifer Lawrence is taking her relatively-newfound fame in stride.

During her interview for the April issue of Glamour UK, the “Hunger Games” starlet stated that she’s not really that interested in becoming a mega-celebrity.

"I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, 'I'd never want to be that famous.’ I can't imagine how I'd feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium."

Jennifer continued, "In some ways, it's a hard life, but it's a great professional life. I'm doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest. I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain."

"Just recently I started letting myself eat things from the minibar. When we were kids, we would never open the minibar. A $6 Snickers bar? But the other day I was in a hotel and I was staring at a Snickers bar, and I finally just ate it. Then it was like something in me snapped. I opened all these drinks. I thought: I can do it now. Now I'm all grown-up. I can eat things from the minibar."

POONAM PANDEY ONCE AGAIN IN NEWS

Almost a year ago, the controversial babe Poonam Pandey had promised her fans that she would go nude if India wins the World Cup. The news had spread like a wild fire and soon the Kingfisher model turned a sensation on the internet.

JENNIFER LOPEZ IN A PARTY MOOD IN VANITY FAIR'S 2012

She has always been a bit of a night owl, and last evening (February 26) Jennifer Lopez was in full-on party mood.

The “On The Floor” songstress donned a low-cut Zuhair Murad cocktail dress and hit the Sunset Tower for Vanity Fair’s 2012 Oscar Party, hosted by Graydon Carter.

Earlier in the evening, J. Lo had everyone’s temperature a few degrees hotter thanks to an almost-wardrobe-malfunction while presenting an Oscar at the 2012 Academy Awards.

However her stylist Mariel Haenn told press, "The dress fit perfectly to every inch. While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, joke's on everyone who wishes they saw something!"

BOMAN IRANI'S SON, KAOYZE TO DEBUT WITH KARAN JOHAR'S "STUDENT OF THE YEAR"

Boman Irani has made his critics and fans swear by his acting skills. Now, his son, Kayoze, is all set to debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s next project titled ‘Student of the Year’. Kayoze got his brush with film making as an assistant director in the recently released, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu.


The film will also act as a launching pad for quite a few debutants including Alia Bhatt, daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, son of director David Dhawan and newcomer Siddharth Malhotra.

Though Kayoze’s exact role in the movie is yet undisclosed, it is knwon that the movie will be a romantic comedy produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Johar’s Dharma Productions.

SEXY ASHLEY IN COCA - COLA RED T-SHIRT

Taking care to maintain her killer body, Ashley Greene was seen leaving a gym in Los Angeles.

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” starlet looked super fit in a red Coca-Cola t-shirt and black workout shorts as she strolled past a swarm of shutterbugs on her way to her car.

In a recent interview, Ashley confessed that her favorite on-screen kiss so far has been with Olivia Wilde in “Butter,” beating out Kellan Lutz (A Warrior’s Heart) and Jackson Rathbone (Twilight franchise).

She explained, "I'm going to go with Olivia. Sorry guys. Ours was much more intense than either of the boys, so they need to step up their game."
