ELISHA CUTHBERT FOR THE SPRING 2012 ISSUE OF NEW YORK MOVES MAGAZINE

She's been busy working on her hit ABC comedy "Happy Ending" as of late, but Elisha Cuthbert took time to put together a feature for the spring 2012 issue of New York Moves magazine.

The 29-year-old blonde beauty looked fetching as she posed in a Lela Rose skirt paired with a One Teaspoon top for the alluring Randall Slavin shot spread while opening up to the publication about everything from her TV series to being dubbed as a "sexy" actress.

Highlights from Miss Cuthbert's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to New York Moves!

ON HER ROLE IN "HAPPY ENDINGS":

“This character has a little of me in there, the goofy side of me. I don’t know if I would have had the confidence [before] to play this character, which is crazy because it seems like the lightest character I’ve ever played. But being outlandish and goofy and exposing yourself is hard. I used to think it was all about making people cry, but the feeling of making people smile and laugh has surpassed that.”

ON LOVING HORROR FILMS:

“When you watch the final product, there’s the fear factor, but when you’re making them, it’s actually a lot of fun. House of Wax was so epic. We had this town built for us in Australia, and it was such a fun group of people. I had my lips glued together, I was getting chased around… it was great!”

ON THE LONG-WAITED 24 FILM:

“I have not seen the script…but I’m hoping I’ll be a part of it in some capacity.”

ON BEING REFERRED TO AS A "SEXY" ACTRESS:

“It’s flattering and kind for people to say they find me attractive. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t. But as you get older, you start to think about who you are. It’s not about being the most beautiful woman in the world, it’s about being the most beautiful person you can be every day. There’s no such thing as perfect; it’s about being yourself. I try to be a beautiful on the inside – a good friend, a good girlfriend, a good daughter.”

AGENT VINOD OVERTAKES BLOOD MONEY WITH EARNING OF 38 CRORES

Very much on the expected lines, this week's major release, from the Bhatt banner, Kunal Khemu's BLOOD MONEY, failed to embark upon even a decent start. While the single screens were better at 25-30 percent, the multiplexes were disappointing at around 15-20 percent. The collections did see an increase during the latter shows (especially at single screens of the Hindi belt), but it was not encouraging enough. All the same, given the high number of screens, BLOOD MONEY will still manage a decent weekend haul.

Meanwhile last Friday's AGENT VINOD saw a sizeable fall in collections during the weekdays, after a good 28-29 crore weekend. As per early estimates, the 62 crore (all inclusive) Saif-Kareena starrer has netted around 38 crore (to be validated) during the opening week from India, and will have to perform reasonably well in the second week, to get to the positive side of the fulcrum.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE COVES GLAMOUR UK APRIL, 2012

Her star just keeps rising higher and higher, and Jennifer Lawrence is taking her relatively-newfound fame in stride.

During her interview for the April issue of Glamour UK, the “Hunger Games” starlet stated that she’s not really that interested in becoming a mega-celebrity.

"I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, 'I'd never want to be that famous.’ I can't imagine how I'd feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium."

Jennifer continued, "In some ways, it's a hard life, but it's a great professional life. I'm doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest. I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain."

"Just recently I started letting myself eat things from the minibar. When we were kids, we would never open the minibar. A $6 Snickers bar? But the other day I was in a hotel and I was staring at a Snickers bar, and I finally just ate it. Then it was like something in me snapped. I opened all these drinks. I thought: I can do it now. Now I'm all grown-up. I can eat things from the minibar."
